Filipinler, İstanbul’da Türkiye Pazarına Yönelik Turizm Olanaklarını Tanıttı

Filipinler, bugün İstanbul’da Türkiye pazarına yönelik turizm olanaklarını tanıtarak hava yolu bağlantılarını, ülkenin zengin destinasyon çeşitliliğini ve Türk seyahatseverlerin takımadaları keşfetmeye yönelik giderek artan ilgisini ön plana çıkardı.

Filipinler Turizm Bakanlığı (Department of Tourism – DOT), bu sabah İstanbul’da düzenlenen ve seyahat sektörü profesyonelleri, hava yolu temsilcileri, Türk turizm sektöründen iş ortakları ve basın mensuplarını bir araya getiren etkinlikte ülkenin geniş kapsamlı turizm olanaklarını tanıttı. Etkinlik, Türkiye pazarında Filipinler’in bilinirliğini artırmayı ve sektörde yeni iş birliği fırsatları yaratmayı amaçladı.
Türkiye’den Filipinler’e seyahat artmaya devam ediyor
Etkinlik, Türkiye’den Filipinler’e yönelik seyahatlerde olumlu bir büyüme trendinin yaşandığı bir dönemde gerçekleştirildi.
2019 yılından bu yana Filipinler’e seyahat eden Türk turistlerin sayısında %155’lik bir artış kaydedilerek, Türkiye pazarının destinasyon açısından gösterdiği olumlu gelişim güçlendi.
Bu ivme 2026 yılında da devam etti. Bu yıl ağustos ayı itibarıyla Filipinler, Türkiye’den 8.534 ziyaretçi ağırladı. Bu rakam, 2025 yılının aynı döneminde 7.842 olarak gerçekleşmişti. Böylece 2026 yılının başından bugüne ziyaretçi sayısında geçen yılın aynı dönemine kıyasla %8,82 oranında büyüme kaydedildi.
Bu sonuçlar, Türk seyahatseverlerin Filipinler’e yönelik artan ilgisini ortaya koyarken, Filipinler Turizm Bakanlığı’nın Türkiye pazarını daha da geliştirme, destinasyonun bilinirliğini artırma ve Türkiye’deki turizm profesyonelleriyle iş birliklerini güçlendirme konusundaki kararlılığını da pekiştiriyor.
Filipinler İstanbul’da turizm sektörünün odağındaydı
Etkinliğe, Turizm Geliştirme Planlamasından Sorumlu Müsteşar Captain Stanley K. Ng başkanlığındaki Filipinler Turizm Bakanlığı (DOT) heyeti katıldı. Manila’dan gelen heyette ayrıca Pazar Geliştirme Ofisi Direktörü Azucena C. Pallugna, DOT Routes Office’ten Warren Palacio ve Londra merkezli Turizm Ataşesi Jerome B. Diaz yer aldı.
Filipinler Turizm Bakanlığı tarafından, Filipinler’in Türkiye Büyükelçiliği’nin desteğiyle düzenlenen etkinliğin seçkin konukları arasında Filipinler Cumhuriyeti Türkiye Büyükelçisi Jaime Ramon T. Ascalon Jr. ile Filipinler İstanbul Konsolosu Rachel Anne Oronce da yer aldı.
Destinasyon sunumu sırasında Azucena C. Pallugna, Filipinler takımadalarının önde gelen destinasyon ve deneyimlerinden bazılarını tanıtarak; doğa, plajlar, kültürel miras, gastronomi, macera ve üst segment seyahat deneyimlerini bir araya getiren zengin turizm olanaklarına dikkat çekti. Katılımcılara Manila, Palawan, Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Siargao ve Clark gibi destinasyonların yanı sıra bireysel tatil amaçlı seyahatlerden aile tatillerine, balayı, dalış, incentive seyahatleri ve MICE turizmi gibi özel segmentlere yönelik turizm ürünleri hakkında bilgi verildi.
Filipinler, turistik çekiciliklerinin çeşitliliğinin yanı sıra Türkiye’den seyahati kolaylaştıran çeşitli avantajları da ön plana çıkardı. Bunlar arasında iki ülke arasındaki hava yolu bağlantıları ve mevcut düzenlemeler kapsamında Türk vatandaşlarının turistik amaçlı 30 güne kadar olan seyahatlerinde Filipinler’e vizesiz giriş yapabilmeleri yer alıyor.
Filipinler Türkiye pazarındaki varlığını güçlendiriyor
7.600’den fazla adası, olağanüstü denizel biyolojik çeşitliliği, zengin kültürel mirası ve sürekli gelişen turizm olanaklarıyla Filipinler, uluslararası seyahatçiler için Asya’nın en çeşitli destinasyonlarından biri olarak konumunu güçlendirmeye devam ediyor. Doğa, kültür, misafirperverlik, gastronomi ve macera deneyimlerini bir araya getiren takımadalar, bölgede yeni destinasyonlar keşfetmek isteyen Türk seyahatseverler için giderek daha cazip bir seçenek haline geliyor.
İstanbul’da gerçekleştirilen bu sunumla Filipinler Turizm Bakanlığı, Türkiye pazarına verdiği önemi bir kez daha ortaya koyarken; destinasyonun bilinirliğini artırmaya, yerel seyahat sektörüyle ilişkilerini güçlendirmeye ve önemli bir gelişim potansiyeline sahip Türkiye pazarındaki büyümeyi sürdürülebilir şekilde desteklemeye yönelik çalışmalarına devam ediyor.

Philippines Showcases Its Tourism Offering for the Turkish Market in Istanbul

The Philippines presented its tourism offering for the Turkish market in Istanbul today, highlighting air connectivity, the country’s diverse destinations and the growing interest among Turkish travellers in discovering the archipelago.

Istanbul, 14 August 2026. The Philippines Department of Tourism showcased the country’s wide-ranging tourism offering in Istanbul this morning at an event that brought together travel industry professionals, airline representatives, partners from the Turkish tourism sector and members of the media. The event aimed to raise awareness of the destination in the Turkish market and create new opportunities for collaboration.

Turkish travel to the Philippines continues to grow

The event comes at a time of positive growth in travel from Türkiye to the Philippines.
Since 2019, the number of Turkish tourists travelling to the Philippines has recovered by 155%, reinforcing the market’s positive trend for the destination.

This momentum has continued in 2026. As of August this year, the Philippines has welcomed 8,534 visitors from Türkiye, compared with 7,842 during the same period in 2025. Year-to-date growth in 2026 stands at 8.82% compared with the same period last year.

These results reflect the growing interest among Turkish travellers in the Philippines and reinforce the Philippines Department of Tourism’s commitment to further developing this market, increasing awareness of the destination and strengthening collaboration with tourism professionals in Türkiye.

The Philippines takes centre stage in Istanbul

The event was attended by Captain Stanley K. Ng, Undersecretary for Tourism Development Planning, led a Department of Tourism (DOT) delegation from Manila that included Azucena C. Pallugna, Director of the Office of Market Development; Warren Palacio of the DOT Routes Office; and Jerome B. Diaz, Tourism Attaché based in London. The event was organized by the Department of Tourism with the support of the Philippine Embassy in Türkiye. Among the distinguished attendees were Jaime Ramon T. During the destination presentation, Azucena C. Pallugna introduced some of the archipelago’s leading destinations and experiences, highlighting an offering that combines nature, beaches, cultural heritage, gastronomy, adventure and high-end travel experiences. Attendees were introduced to destinations including Manila, Palawan, Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Siargao and Clark, as well as tourism products designed both for leisure travellers and for specific segments such as family travel, honeymoons, diving, incentive travel and MICE tourism.

Alongside the diversity of its attractions, the Philippines highlighted several advantages that make travel from Türkiye easier, including air connectivity between the two countries and the possibility for Turkish citizens to travel to the Philippines visa-free for tourism stays of up to 30 days, in accordance with current regulations.

The Philippines strengthens its presence in the Turkish market

With more than 7,600 islands, outstanding marine biodiversity, a rich cultural heritage and an expanding tourism offering, the Philippines continues to establish itself as one of Asia’s most diverse destinations for international travellers. Its combination of nature, culture, hospitality, gastronomy and adventure experiences makes the archipelago an increasingly attractive choice for Turkish travellers looking to discover new destinations in the region.

Through this presentation in Istanbul, the Philippines Department of Tourism reaffirms its commitment to the Turkish market and continues its efforts to increase the destination’s visibility, strengthen relationships with the local travel industry and sustain the growth of a market with significant potential for further development
